Today's card is "The Light of Happiness." Not "everything's about to get better" — something else. Happiness isn't out there where you're headed. It's already here, just buried under junk. I lived a long time on one script — finish this, get that, and then. Money, a project, someone by my side — I lined up conditions like checkpoints on a route and promised myself joy at every one. I'd reach them. Nothing. Empty for a couple of days, then a new condition. I'll say it straight: it made me furious. Furious at myself for falling for it again, for postponing my own life to "after." Then there was the silence in the mountains — just standing there, out of breath from the climb, nothing decided, nothing earned, and suddenly it was obvious: here it is, right now, for no reason at all. Nobody handed out permission. The light was just there. And I understood I'd been looking in the wrong place the whole time — hunting for a reason, when what I needed was access.

Here's the hard part: clearing the junk isn't a once-a-year deep clean, it's every single day, over and over. Expectations pile up fast, and you won't even notice you've slapped a condition back on your own happiness — "if only," "once." The card doesn't promise the storm will pass or the money will come. It says something else: while you're waiting for conditions, the light is burning for nothing, because you're not looking at it. So today, do this once — no reason, no trigger — say out loud to yourself, "I'm happy right now," and notice what happens in your body when you say it with nothing behind it. Don't wait for confirmation from outside. The check happens inside. The light doesn't go out, even when it's hard. Sometimes it just gets buried — by your own hands.
