Today's card is "The Devil." And the first thing I want to say: no horns, no tail, forget the whole picture. The Devil isn't someone who shows up with a contract and asks you to sign in blood. He shows up quieter — through choices you make several times a day and don't even notice. You lied a little, stayed silent when the truth was needed, took something that wasn't yours because "everyone does it" — that's the whole ritual of the sale. Fame, money, power, pleasure right now — these are real temptations, I won't pretend they passed me by. There was a time I chased whatever glittered too, telling myself the end justifies the means. It doesn't. The bill comes later — quiet, from the inside.

Here's the honest hard part: while the deal isn't fully sealed, it feels like everything's under control — you just nudged your conscience "a little," once, for the sake of something important. Then again. And then one day you don't recognize yourself in the mirror, and inside there's an emptiness like a room after all the furniture's been carried out. I know that feeling — getting what you wanted and finding no joy in it, just a ringing hollowness and the question "why did I even do that." That's the price nobody warns you about ahead of time. People rarely notice the moment their soul started being sold off in pieces — they only notice once there's almost nothing left.

But here's what matters, and it's not a comforting fairy tale: a contract like that can be torn up. Not in one evening, not with one prayer — over years, step by step, through honesty with yourself and work nobody else sees. Do one thing today: remember one specific choice from this past week where you knew you were acting against your own conscience — and just admit it to yourself out loud, no excuses. Don't fix it right away, don't punish yourself — just call it what it is. That's already the start of the way back. The soul isn't something for sale. It's yours, for as long as you decide it stays that way.
