The father is the embodiment of strength, courage, and the origin through which you came into this world. Whatever your relationship with him may be, whether he is alive or not, whether it is full of love, grievance, or indifference, his influence on your life is undeniable.

He is the channel of the energy that once made your existence possible. This card reminds you that without a father, without masculine energy, your life could not have begun.

His choice, his actions, his love or passion for your mother became the starting point of your path. And so he deserves gratitude, for the life, for the gift you have been given.

Relationships with a father are often complicated. We may hold grievances, make claims, feel disappointment.

But consider: the most important task was fulfilled — he gave you life. Everything else consists of lessons given to us, not only by him, but by life itself.

He is only part of this larger picture, part of the path that was necessary for your appearance in this world. Thank him.
