Searching is an inseparable part of our being. We are forever searching: for love, for money, for answers to our questions, for solutions, for healing.
We search for resources, strength, inspiration, and life's meaning. This is a path we inevitably walk, like ants that always search for food, build their nests, and bring home what's needed.
So too, a person, by their very nature, is always in search of something important. But it's important to remember that searching doesn't always imply a final goal.
Sometimes we search for something and don't find it, and this can be a sign. Maybe we're searching for the wrong thing, or in the wrong way.
Or maybe what we're searching for isn't ready for us yet, or perhaps we don't need it right now. Perhaps it's worth asking: are we asking the right questions?
And isn't the very path we walk the most precious treasure of all? For along the path of searching, we learn and grow, and every step brings new awareness.
In our searching, we ourselves once planted the clues that, in time, will let us remember who we are and why we are here. We came into this world with a particular purpose, with a plan we wish to fulfill.
These clues we've left ourselves help us find the way back to ourselves, returning us to what we once intended. And the moment we begin recognizing these signs, we move forward, toward fulfilling what we came into this world for.
Searching is not merely striving toward a goal. It is a game, a game with life, which should never be boring.
Let every step along the path of your search be a lesson for you, and every moment a source of strength. And remember, whoever finds what they were searching for will be rich in spirit and in the fullness of life.
