The death of the body is not the end of the road; it is a door into a new reality. When the body dies, the soul does not disappear.

It continues its journey, carrying with it every lesson, every joy, every mistake, and every bit of wisdom gathered on earth. What awaits it next remains a mystery to many, but the soul knows where it must go.

This is the path home, to the heavens, where it undergoes cleansing, reflection, and preparation for a new stage of life, whether that be paradise, a new incarnation, or another level of being. The soul can become bright, radiant, and find peace, if the person lived with kindness, love, and awareness.

But if life was filled with hatred, evil, and suffering, the soul may become stuck in dark spaces, atoning for its mistakes. The Bible warns of heaven and hell, but what matters most is what happens in your heart right now.

Because heaven or hell is not only what awaits after death; it is a state you can experience while alive. The death of the soul occurs when a person finally loses their connection to love, compassion, and light.

But even then, not everything is lost. As long as you are alive, you have the chance to cleanse your soul, to fill it with goodness, repentance, and meaning.

This is labor, but it is worth it. Just as a diamond requires cutting, so too does the soul require effort, to become radiant and beautiful.

Start small: stop doing what destroys your soul. Forgive yourself for your mistakes; ask forgiveness of others.

Perform good deeds, even if they seem small. The soul always feels when you care for it, and it answers with light.

The death of the body is inevitable, but the death of the soul is a choice. As long as you are alive, cleanse it of laziness, anger, and pain.

Let your soul become pure and bright, ready for whatever journey it is destined to take. So be it.

Amen.
