Make No Idols

Your primary guide is your own soul. Creating an idol for yourself means giving your strength away to others.

It is an attempt to find support in the outer world, forgetting that the strongest teacher already lives within you. It's important to respect others, to acknowledge their wisdom and achievements, but never to place them above yourself.

For if you put someone on a pedestal, you automatically diminish yourself and give up your own inner strength. You see a person, you admire their knowledge or their success, but what lies behind that outer shell, you will never fully know.

No one is perfect. And even those who appear saintly or wise can still make mistakes, carry weaknesses and imperfections.

Don't follow them blindly. Learn from them, take what is useful, but keep for yourself the right to doubt, to reflect, and to seek your own path.

The Bible says: "Make no idols for yourself." Because when you place someone above yourself, you forget that your soul already holds every answer. Your task is not to search for ideals in the outer world, but to reveal your own gifts and qualities.

To become your own guiding star. This is not pride; it is the strength of self-acceptance and self-respect.

Learn from others, but always return to yourself. Weigh their knowledge, but filter it through the voice of your own soul.

Seek support, but don't turn it into dependency. Your soul knows more than you think.

Listen to its voice, and remember: you yourself are capable of being your own teacher and source of inspiration. Your path is unique.

And though others may be companions along the way, your soul is the only compass truly worth trusting fully. Let the light within you guide you toward the truth.

So be it. Amen.
