The Fool stands both at the beginning of the journey and at its end — this is the card of zero, the void from which the value of every other number is born. He fears nothing, because he already knows nothing and, at the same time, knows everything: having passed through his fears and lost everything except himself, he has become innocent again, like a child.

This card is about the readiness to step into the unknown without calculation and without the weight of past experience, to trust intuition and spontaneity instead of familiar patterns. The Fool holds chaos and wisdom, madness and insight together within himself — sometimes only the one who has understood nothing is free enough to laugh and begin again.
