Today's card is "Healing of the Soul." Not the coziest one — it's not about light, not about opening some chakra, it's about wounds you stopped showing even to yourself a long time ago. Everyone has one: not the thing you talk about in company, but the thing that stays quiet inside and wakes up without warning — over nothing, at a stray word, a smell, silence in the car. I carried one like that for years myself and pretended it wasn't there — worked, ran, buried it under things to do, because admitting it meant stopping, and stopping was scarier than running. Today's card doesn't ask if you're ready. It just puts a hand on that spot and says: enough pretending.

The honest hard part is that healing isn't one session with a therapist or one candle lit in church. It's long, sometimes the whole of your life, and the first steps there are usually the most humiliating — admitting this still gets to you, that ten years passed and some eight-year-old version of you is still standing in that same room. The trap is shame. Ashamed it never let go. Ashamed of yourself for a weakness that isn't even there — there's just a wound that was waiting to be tended to. And there's your lineage pulling at it too — what got handed to you without asking: someone else's fears, someone else's unspoken things, someone else's pain that you carry as your own. That's not esoteric talk, that's plain to see with your own eyes in any family, if you're honest about looking.

Do one thing today: name that wound out loud, to yourself, in one word or one sentence — not for therapy, for honesty. Don't solve it today, don't paper over it, just say it. And if you want, say it to the ones who came before you — parents, your line — not as an accusation, as a request to let go of what keeps reaching past you. Light doesn't arrive after a pretty sunset picture. It arrives after you stop hiding what hurts.

"A wound that's been named stops leading in silence."
